The Contracts Review Specialist will analyze and negotiate on a wide range of agreements. Provide strategic guidance to company stakeholders relating to business and legal provisions. Managing the drafting and amendment of vendor contracts, while meeting program measurements and deadlines. Your stakeholder group will involve all levels of business management, Legal counsel, Procurement, 3rd party vendors and our Global program team which will require clear articulate communication skills. A procurement contracts background in contingent labor categories will be highly desired. Working onsite in an Expedia Offices in Bellevue, WA is preferable. (Remote is also an option)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. High volume high value delivery expectations Statement of Work (SOW) record creation in Fieldglass VMS Tool This position will require experience of using Contract Management systems and VMS tools such as Fieldglass. The desired candidate should be deadline driven, work well under pressure, possess a strong customer service mindset, and have the ability to build relationships across the organization. Someone who has the initiative and confidence to identify defects and escalate when required. Create processes to help streamline procedures. The candidate must be proactive in researching, obtaining, and providing the necessary information needed to complete the SOW transactions. Self-driven but can take direction when needed Able to work with varying levels of leadership in Procurement/Legal/Business verticals. Able to work closely with the Talent Managers on the program team to conduct seamless workflows. Comfortable driving conversations and via email, IM, VTC and in person. Qualifications Education and/or Experience A Law or Procurement degree/certification is preferred or equivalent experienceLanguage Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, mark-ups and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
