Description :This position leads, manages and executes entire lifecycle of Point of Sale (POS) data as received from external Distributors and provides analysis of the data to help drive key decision making in the organization. Our commercial teams pay close attention to POS data to monitor the health of the business and use the data to drive commercial initiatives. POS data is the basis for a significant portion of sales teams variable compensation. Specific responsibilities of the position include:
Administer end to end POS upload process by auditing, tracking, uploading and reporting all POS sales for approved distributors.
Serve as a liaison between the external POS distributors and internal IT organizations as required to ensure System requirements are fully supported by IT.
Responsible for end to end creation of POS reporting and ability to provide insights and analysis from the results. Provide detailed weekly, biweekly and monthly reporting for all POS and shipments and maintain and provide historical trends.
Assist in POS support projects in testing new functionality or new POS providing distributors and participate in EDI automation project.
Maintain process flow and directions documents for POS processing and reporting.
Participate and support in monthly accruals, commission calculations in accordance to sales compensation plans and validating payouts and communication to payroll/AP with all requires supporting documentation and approvals.
Liaise with sales teams and manage the process to validate the marketing dollars earned by distributors, ensure the sales teams are validating the funds are used to market our products & credit the distributor accounts for co-op marketing spend.
Qualified candidates should have a bachelors degree and 2+ years of accounting or finance experience.
Preferred candidates will have some experience in processing data in Oracle, compensation administration or financial analysis, and developed skills in Excel (Sales Comp a Plus)
Good communication skills and ability to liaison between multiple layers of management and different departments.
